Pennsylvania high school students encouraged to enter video contest

HARRISBURG — The League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania (LWVPA) invites Pennsylvania’s high school students to enter the Second Annual LWVPA High School Video Contest, with the theme of “Your Voice - Your Vote - Be Heard!”

The contest is open to any team of students or individual student between the ages of 13 and 19 currently enrolled in high school in Pennsylvania. Contestants will create 30-second video public service announcements that encourage participation in the democratic process.

First-place winners will be awarded $1,000, with a second-place prize of $500 and third-place prize of $250. The contest began on Jan. 15 and entries will be accepted until midnight March 1. Winners will be announced April 1.
