The Abington Heights School District Special Education Department held a parent informational session on the topic: ‘What is an Individualized Education Program (IEP)?’ on Tuesday, Jan. 19. The next monthly parent session is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 16 on the topic: ‘Student-led IEP meeting.’ This informal discussion will provide students and their families with information on how students may be an active participant in their Individualized Education Program meeting. All monthly events are held at the administration building at 200 E. Grove St., Clarks Summit. All community members are welcome to attend.
