Donation yoga class to benefit Griffin Pond Animal Shelter

SCRANTON — Hilary Steinberg, owner of Jaya Yoga Studio, Clarks Summit and yoga instructor Erin Malloy will offer a donation-based yoga class at the Hilton Conference Center at 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 7.

Old yoga mats, as well as monetary donations, cat litter (clay is preferred), kitten food, canned cat food, cat toys, canned dog food, dog toys, large durable chew bones, rabbit and guinea pig food, hamster and ferret food, cloth towels, blankets and sheets, paper towels, garbage bags, bleach, brooms, scrub brushes, rubber gloves, buckets, copier paper, pens and highlighters will all be accepted.

Stately Pet Supply will be on site with information on pet nutrition, classes on pet nutrition, allergy information, training information, healthy treats and more.

The first 50 people will be entered to win a free mini pet photography session donated by I Got The Shot Photography.

Griffin Pond Animal Shelter will have some furry friends looking for forever homes in attendance as well.
