SOUTH ABINGTON TWP. — The Friends of the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter have organized the fourth annual motorcycle run to benefit the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter on Sunday, June 14 at Legends Saloon and Dickson City Freight Station.

The team at the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter has provided emergency veterinary care for sick, elderly and injured animals.

Event registration will be held at Legends Saloon from 9 to 11 a.m., with the run immediately following. The run will include three stops at Blue Pelican at Lake Winola, Windsor Inn in Jermyn and Bennoco’s in Hamlin and ends at Legends Saloon and the Dickson City Freight Station.

The suggested donation is $15 for each rider and $5 for each passenger. Riders may pre-register and donate online at https://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/gpas/legendsmotorcyclerun.

Following the run, a cookout with musical entertainment by DJ Jason Miller will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at Legends Saloon. Anyone not able to ride is welcome to attend the cookout for a suggested donation of $5 per person.

Friends of the Shelter Motorcycle Run committee members include Nancy Vrabel, Lynn Sepkowski, Michael Kelly, Jess Farrell, John Lubeck, Tom Hughes, Mel Hughes, Jerry Tully, Jennifer Macknosky and Paul Macknosky.

Raffle basket donations are appreciated and may be taken to Legends Saloon prior to the day of the event.
