UNICO Scranton Chapter Ladies Auxiliary recently held its monthly meeting, at which Mary Ann LaPorta, executive director of the Children’s Advocacy Center, was guest speaker. LaPorta presented recent statistics of child abuse in the area, how to recognize the signs of abuse and how to report it.
