WAVERLY TWP. — The Voluntary Action Center will celebrate Senior Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 31 at its satellite office at the Waverly Community House, 1115 N. Abington Road.
Lackawanna County residents are invited to come and learn about programs and opportunities offered by the Voluntary Action Center. Staff and volunteers will be on site to assist with Medicare questions, and will provide assessments to seniors to determine their eligibility for various health and wellness programs available at no charge.
