Intro to Drawing for Adults class offered at Waverly Community House

WAVERLY TWP. — Due to the success of the first session of classes, instructor Merissa Garrison will return to the Waverly Community House, 1115 N. Abington Road, to teach drawing to adults.

Intro to Drawing for Adults is a six-week introduction to drawing using the basic techniques of line, shape, value and perspective. Students will develop an understanding of the elements of drawing, learn drawing skills and build artistic confidence in themselves. Participants will put into practice the fundamentals of drawing while working towards a final composition and completion of a still life drawing.

The 90-minute classes will be offered from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, beginning May 18 and running through June 22 in the Scout Room.
