SCRANTON — The Office of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Scranton will host an outdoor family movie night experience for all to enjoy this summer while raising funds for the Diocesan Catholic School System.

The Diocesan Schools Office’s special movie offer features the showing of the new Disney Pixar animated film “Finding Dory” on Wednesday, June 29, at The Circle Drive-In Theatre, 1911 Scranton Carbondale Highway, Dickson City. Gates open at 7 p.m. and the movie starts at 8:45 p.m.

The drive-in movie showing is open to the public. Cost is $10 per car, and proceeds will benefit the Catholic Schools Tuition Assistance Program in the Diocese. Price of admission includes one soda and small order of popcorn per person. The Circle concession stand will also be open for the sale of additional food and refreshments.

Released on June 17, “Finding Dory” is a sequel to the 2003 hit “Finding Nemo,” which won an Academy Award for best animated feature. The all-new big-screen underwater adventure reunites the lovable, friendly-but-forgetful blue tang fish, Dory, with her friends from the original film, Nemo and Marlin, on a search for answers about her past. Along the way, everyone learns a few lessons about the true meaning of family.
