The Commonwealth Medical College receives gift to create teaching room

John and Pat Atkins, the former owners of Patsel’s Restaurant in Clarks Summit, made a generous gift to The Commonwealth Medical College (TCMC) that creates a teaching room in their name on the third floor of the college’s Scranton campus. The Atkins are members of TCMC’s Founder’s Society, a group of donors who provided 50 percent scholarships to the charter class.
