SCRANTON — City lawyer Marion Munley was recently elected chair‐elect of the American Association for Justice’s Women Trial lawyers Caucus and Vice‐Chair of the association’s Trucking Litigation Group at the AAJ annual meeting in Los Angeles, Calif.

The Women Trial Lawyers Caucus provides opportunity for women in the legal profession to support and learn from one another through networking events, CLE courses, awards, and leadership opportunities.

Earlier this year Munley received the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Lynette Norton Award, recognizing an outstanding female litigator devoted to mentoring other women lawyers.

The Trucking Litigation Group provides its members with tools and resources to successfully litigate trucking cases, and to remain abreast of important developments in trucking laws. Munley has been an advocate for victims of heavy trucking accidents for 30 years and has held multiple leadership positions within the group.
