CLARKS SUMMIT — Constantino’s Catering and Events announced the purchase, expansion and renovation of the former Patsel’s Restaurant in Glenburn Township. The sale was completed Tuesday, Aug. 23 and includes the land, building, remaining business contents and liquor license.

The project includes expansions to the dining room, blue stone patios, parking and storage areas. The dining room, when finished, will be one continual space, able to accommodate roughly 200 guests. The space will be transformed into an elegant canvas allowing each customer to create his or her ideal event motif.

The centerpiece of the property is the gardens, which will become the setting for outdoor ceremonies, cocktail receptions and al fresco event dining.

Constantino’s management staff said Pat and John Atkins, the former owners of Patsel’s, assisted and allowed access to the property during the project planning process.

Construction is scheduled to start on Oct. 1 and continue through winter. The venue is slated to open for events on May 1, 2017. For more information, call the business’ main office at 570-963-1691 or visit constantinoscatering.com.
