KINGSTON – Eamon Gibbons, of Clarks Summit, a current senior at Wyoming Seminary, was named an AP Scholar With Distinction.

Twenty-four Sem students qualified for the AP Scholar With Distinction award by earning an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. Thirteen students qualified for the AP Scholar With Honor award, and 14 students qualified for the AP Scholar award.

Fifty-one current students and recent graduates of Wyoming Seminary have been named AP Scholars by the College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the college-level AP (Advanced Placement) Examinations. About 22 percent of the 2.2 million students who took AP Examinations in May 2016, performed at a sufficiently high level to merit such recognition.
