Two Abington-area students are student teaching at local schools

Two University of Scranton education majors are serving as student teachers during the spring semester at two local schools. They are among 24 education majors serving as student teachers this spring semester at 13 schools in 10 districts.

Matthew Frutchey, of South Abington Township, will teach at Mid Valley Secondary Center in Throop and Samantha Kelly, of Clarks Summit, will teach at Neil Armstrong Elementary School in Scranton.
