WILKES-BARRE — In anticipation of the pending snowstorm, some Commonwealth Health facilities will be closed on Tuesday, March 14.

All hospitals, including Berwick Hospital Center, First Hospital, Moses Taylor Hospital, Regional Hospital of Scranton, Tyler Memorial Hospital and Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, will continue to operate normally for all services throughout the duration of the storm.

People who are stricken ill are advised to call 911 instead of attempting to travel on the roads during the storm. Those who have questions regarding situations that are not life-threatening are encouraged to call their physicians. All doctor’s offices will continue to field patient calls.

Commonwealth Health Emergency Medical Services will continue operating to the best of its ability throughout the storm.

Lackawanna County closings:

All outpatient sites will be closed.

All physician locations (Commonwealth Health Physicians Network, Physicians Health Alliance and Great Valley Cardiology) will be closed.

Tunkhannock Area closings:

All outpatient sites affiliated with Tyler Memorial Hospital will be closed.

All physician practices will be closed.

Luzerne County closings:

All outpatient sites will be closed.

All physician locations (InterMountain Medical Group, Commonwealth Health Physicians Network) will be closed.

Community Counseling Services and CHOICES outpatient clinic will be closed.

Berwick Area closings:

All outpatient sites will be closed.

All Berwick Medical Professionals physician offices will be closed.
