#110 Culinary 101

Don’t underestimate the need to master knife skills, egg cookery, vinaigrettes and meat fabrication. Do you know how to get the most from a chicken? Sara McCully will show students the basics.

#115 Craft Beer University: A Crash Course

The Scranton Brewers Guild will present an engagement heavy class about craft beer. The class will start with the brewing process and how to brew one’s own beer, what to look for and not look for in a “good” beer, beer styles and beer and food pairings and tastings. The goal of the class is to make even the most novice beer drinker comfortable selecting, talking and describing craft beer. The Brewers Guild will supply home brewed beer and other items from its award-winning brewers to sample.
