TUNKHANNOCK — The Wyoming County Players’ Junior Players and Little Hams will present their seventh annual spring musical production, “Shrek, JR.,” May 19 and 20 at the Starlite Playhouse. Friday and Saturday evening shows begin at 7 p.m. with a Saturday matinee at 3 p.m.

Shrek, everyone’s favorite ogre, leads a cast of fairy tale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, “Shrek Jr.” is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.

Tickets are available at the door or by calling 570-836-6986. Admission is $10 for adults and $7 for children 12 and under.

Other events coming for the Junior Players and Little Hams include a summer theater camp, slated for June 19 through 23 and the annual Theater Under the Stars production in mid-August. “101 Dalmations” will go up on August 11 and 12. Call 570-836-6986 or email kimdwhipple@frontier.com for audition information.
