Waverly Community House to offer creative writing classes for children

WAVERLY TWP. — The Waverly Community House, 1115 N. Abington Road, is offering a new “Exploring Creative Writing” class for children.

The classes, with instructor Julie Klee, will explore weekly autumn themes and teach children to develop their writing skills through creative writing exercises. The Monday classes are open to children in grades five through eight. Classes will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the Constance Reynolds Belin Room in the South Wing of the Comm. Class dates are Oct. 16, 23 and 30 and Nov. 6.

The registration fee is $40 per child for those who register by Oct. 11 and $50 per child for those who register after that date. All class supplies are included in the registration fee.
