CLARKS SUMMIT — The Abington Business and Professional Association’s (ABPA) 2017 Business Scarecrow Competition kicked off Monday, Oct. 16 and will continue until Tuesday, Oct. 31.
Community members may vote for their favorite business scarecrow by filling out a ballot in-store at a participating business, online at TheABPA.com or by dropping it off or mailing it to: the Abington Journal, 211 S. State St,, Clarks Summit, PA, 18411.
Each voter will be entered in a drawing and one winner will receive a $100 gift certificate, valid at the participating businesses.
Participants include CareGivers4Kids, Clarks Summit Senior Living, Clel’s Place, Everything Natural, Peoples Security Bank and Trust in Glenburn, The Pines Senior Living, Sutton Family Skin Care and Waverly Community House.
