Representatives of Invenergy presented an update on the 57-acre energy plant being built in Jessup during a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of the Abingtons. Site Manager Dan Marks gave a slideshow presentation explaining various features of the $1.5 billion project that will have the capacity of powering 975,000 homes. He, along with Plant Manager Jason Carey, who will oversee a staff of 30 employees when it is completed this spring, answered questions from the Rotarians.
