The Scranton Area Foundation provided $2,000 in support of The University of Scranton Small Business Development Center’s (SBDC) Start Up! Program, designed to teach aspiring female business owners the basics of launching a small business. Topics covered during the six-week program include financial literacy, goal setting, gaining credit and capital and marketing.
