In August, The Boys and Girls Club summer STEM program taught the girls about solar power through the use of solar panels and photovoltaic cells. The girls also learned about physical reactions through fun experiments like mixing soda and mentos. They also learned about electromagnetism through magnetic charges from a battery, and experimented with chemical changes through baking soda and vinegar.

Next semester the girls will learn about robotics, drones and solar systems.
