Free Teens Fly Fishing Class, registration open until 9 a.m. Feb. 6. Any student ages 14 to 18 years may participate. The class will run every other Saturday from Feb. 6 through May. All aspects of fly fishing will be taught including both the art and the sciences involved. Upon graduation, all students become members of Trout Unlimited and the T.U. Teens club. Classes are held indoors at the Scott Twp. Municipal Building in Montdale during the winter months and outdoors when the weather improves. All equipment and materials are supplied for free. Preseason instructional softball clinic, 1 to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 14 at Abington Heights High School. For girls ages 5-12. Current Abington Heights players and coaches will provide instruction in hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching and catching. Girls from any school district are welcome to attend.
