SOUTH ABINGTON TWP. — Fifteen members of the Abington Heights High School football team were recognized by the Pennsylvania Football News for their academic and athletic success.

Seniors Kyle Gerrity and Jordan Hollander along with juniors Anthony Duboski, Tommy Rothenberger and Ben Vale were named to the All-Academic Gold Team for earning a 3.80 or higher grade point average over their academic careers and excelling on the field.

Juniors Mickey Farry, Colin McCreary, Brian Ostrowski and Tommy Yocum were named to the All-Academic Sliver Team for earning a grade point average of 3.50 to 3.79.

Seniors Jason Kontz and Jason Tinsley, juniors Brady Bauman, Nick Emmett and Brandon Hardy, and sophomore Luke Gualtieri were named to the All-Academic Bronze Team for earning a grade point average of at least 3.00 to 3.49.
