More than 100 children attend Future Stars Track Meet at Abington Heights

    SOUTH ABINGTON TWP. — Abington Heights juniors Katie Dammer and Emma Marion recently used their senior project to introduce children to track and field. The girls organized and conducted a Future Stars Track Meet for boys and girls, ages 4-10, in the school district at the high school on Friday, Aug. 26. More than 100 kids participated in the meet which included the 50, 100, 200, 400 and 800-meter dash, a softball throw and long jump.
