CLINTON TWP. — Abington Heights swept Lackawanna Trail, 3-0 (25-19, 25-21, 25-13) in a Lackawanna League girls volleyball match Monday, Sept. 12. Alessia Brunori led the Lady Comets with six kills, Paris Koehler had nine digs, Emily Crowley had 25 assists and Jasmine McDuffie had five aces.

Allison Melnikoff led the Lady Lions with 22 digs and Sabrina von Ahrens contributed seven points.

Abington Heights (2-1) will host Western Wayne at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16 at the Clarks Summit Elementary School gym.

Lackawanna Trail (0-3) will host Montrose at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 at the high school gym.
