Abington Heights junior high basketball teams finish successful seasons

The Abington Heights junior high boys basketball teams completed successful seasons. The eighth-grade team won the Lackawanna League championship for the second consecutive season. They also won the Blue Ridge Tournament, the Pennsylvania Championships in Allentown, and finished second at the MLK Shoot Out in New Jersey. They finished with an overall record of 33-6. The seventh-grade team was the pre-season Blue Ridge Tournament champions and finished tied for first place in its division. It ended the season with a 14-6 record.
