3rd Annual Lackawanna County Open Tennis Tournament, July 14-17, at the Scranton Tennis Club, 1029 Morgan Hwy., Clarks Summit. The event will feature men’s and women’s singles and doubles in A and B division. Singles cost: $10 for club members, $15 for non-members. Doubles cost: $10 per team for members and $15 team per team for non-members. The club will provide balls, awards for finalists, and a luncheon for the players on July 16. The race will raise funds for a memorial scholarship that will be given for underprivileged youths to attend the Keystone/Trout Unlimited Teens Conservation Camp at Keystone College and the Louis A. Koch Annual Memorial scholarship at Holy Cross High School.
