Abington Heights High School administration, teachers, SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions), SAP (Student Assistance Program), Interact Club, Guidance Department and the Physical Education Department are promoting a two-week long effort to provide students with information on suicide awareness and current bullying and harassment issues.

District personnel want to promote kindness toward one another and let students know how each has an opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Some of this week‚??s activities planned are:

·Daily motivational and information based announcements

·Posters are displayed throughout the school

·A video on suicide awareness is being shown in all physical education classes

·An after-school forum in the library on Wednesday, December 12, when anyone interested in talking and obtaining additional information can meet.

¬∑Beginning next week, the Interact club will begin their ‚??pay it forward‚?Ě campaign with random acts of kindness.
