Allied Services Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center recently held a gathering to celebrate the graduates of the Pennsylvania Empowered Expert Resident (PEER) Program.

Each resident completed 10 hours of training to become Volunteer Ombudsman, who can effectively deal with other residents' issues in house with the proper staff and the chain of command inside the facility, so that residents don't have the need to seek outside help from the Ombudsman or the Department of Health.
