Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania's Caring Corps employee volunteer program is making a difference this Thanksgiving season by helping those in need. During the week of Nov. 12, more than 100 volunteers are assisting regional food pantries and community kitchens in four counties.

In Scranton, employees from Blue Cross helped make a difference by preparing and serving meals at St. Francis of Assisi Kitchen.

All year, BCNEPA employees are encouraged to volunteer for nonpofits in the community through the Volunteer Day policy, which provides paid time off to participate in community service.
