COLTS' 40th birthday party will be celebrated Nov. 1, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the board room of 800 North South Road, Scranton; short program at 11:30 a.m. followed by tours of the COLTS facility.


The event marks the 40th anniversary of approval of the County of Lackawanna Transportation System by the Pennsylvania Department of State to become a county authority Nov. 1, 1972.

Invited guests include Sen. John Blake and Lackawanna County Commissioners Corey O'Brien, Jim Wansacz and Patrick O'Malley.
