Geisinger opens dermatology clinic in Dunmore

Both physicians offer a wide range of services, including treatment for acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, rosacea, skin and nail fungal infections, warts, routine skin checks and diagnosis of skin cancer. Patients who have been diagnosed with skin cancer can be treated in the office using Mohs micrographic surgery, a proven procedure in which Dr. Suchter is fellowship trained. Additionally, Dr. Suchter is trained in cosmetic dermatology services, including BOTOX® Cosmetic and other facial injectable treatments as well as laser resurfacing.
Dr. Suchter most recently completed a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery in 2012 at both Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, and Geisinger Medical Center (GMC), Danville. He earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia, Pa., in 2007. Dr. Suchter first completed an internal medicine internship at GMC in 2008. He then completed a residency in dermatology at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Piscataway, N.J., in 2011.
Specializing in general dermatology, Dr. Long has worked for Geisinger for more than 25 years. He earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, in 1976. Dr. Long completed a dermatology residency program at GMC in 1980.
