Griffin Pond Petnic

The first annual Petnic for families in our area to benefit the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter will be held August 25 from 1 to 5 p.m. rain or shine at the South Abington Park in Chinchilla, 640 Northern Boulevard, behind the Elementary School. Entertainment will include Zumba under the direction of Kathi Platt at 1 p.m., face painting, a bouncy house on premise and family games. The band "Rockbox" has donated their services for this event. Refreshments include: hamburgers, hot dogs and beverages and will be provided for the $10 per family admission ticket. Money raised from this event will be used for animals that are brought to the shelter that need Emergency Vet Care.
