Faith Cady, who temporarily resides in Clarks Summit, was seven months old when her family first moved to Cambodia as missionaries to share their Christian faith with the people there. Now 15, she's lived there her whole life and still loves it.

There's just something really great about living in Cambodia, she said.

What do you like about living in Cambodia?

Faith: The friendships and the people. The cheap prices are pretty awesome as well. The weather is also something I rather like since I can't stand the cold. It's really nice that it's always hot.

What is the hardest part?

Faith: Probably being so far away from my grandparents and cousins, and my siblings that have come back for college.

How is Cambodia different from America?

Faith: Well for one, Cambodia is a really poor country and a really corrupt one…We don't have snow... Instead of a president we have a king. A lot of people use motos or took tooks for transportation, though we do have cars as well. Motos are basically what you would call a moped but not quite the same. And a took took is a carriage type thing…attached to a moto.

Do you have friends your age there?

Faith: I have quite a few friends in Cambodia…There are actually quite a few people from all over the world in Cambodia. I've met and know people from Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Canada, America, Korea and a bunch of other places.

What do you like to do for fun?

Faith: Often me and my best friend Abbie go to the market, called the Russian market…they have food stalls, clothes, DVDs, statues, jewelry and tons of stuff. We also go to the mall or the water park. Usually, though, we just like to go to Hope School (an international private school) and hang out with people there.

What is your favorite food in Cambodia?

Faith: I think my favorite Khmae food would be Curry with rice noodles…or…pork and rice, the pork in Kampuchea is really different then here in America and I definitely like it.
