Last Modified: February 19. 2013 8:31PM
Each December, members of the college??s Sport Management and Recreation Team get together with Home Instead Senior Care of Clarks Summit to wrap gifts that will help make the holidays a little brighter for local senior citizens.
Led by Keystone Associate Professor Terry Wise, the students will gather on Dec. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon in Evans Hall in Hibbard Campus Center where they will gift wrap approximately 600 presents for local seniors.
The gifts are donated by local residents as well as Keystone students, faculty and staff. Officials from Home Instead, which co-sponsors the project, will deliver them to local senior citizens centers during the holiday season.
??This is a chance for Keystone students to celebrate the true spirit of the holidays,? said Professor Wise. ??We look forward to this day as one of the most important and enjoyable events of the year.?
