A scheming Southern belle, a crooked lawyer, a jilted husband, a shrewd police detective and a poisonous snake take center stage in "Scandal Point," The Lakeside Players' fall production.
Written by John Patrick, "Scandal Point" tells the story of Joy Desmond, a conniving Southern woman with a shady past, and husband, a rich, older herpetologist.
The play is set for Oct. 5, 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14, Friday and Saturday, 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, 3 p.m. at Lakeville Community Hall, Route 590, Lakeville.
