VFW Post #7069 Commander Steuart J. Bailey, along with the Post color guard, presented a program at Clarks Summit Elementary School at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 12.

The program includes the posting of the colors, singing of the national anthem, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and concluding with ‚??Taps.‚?Ě

Commander Bailey then visited his daughter, Teacher Jacklyn Bailey‚??s second grade classroom, where he spoke to all three second grade classes about the meaning of Veterans Day and the flag.

Students were later presented with their own American flags to take home as his gift to them.
