Mellody named to Hall of Fame

Taryn Mellody, DPT, a physical therapist at Allied Rehab Hospital, was recently inducted into the Northeast PA Sports Hall of Fame for her accomplishments in women's basketball at The University of Scranton.

During her four years, the team record was 114-11, and they earned four Middle Atlantic Conference Championships and two NCAA Final Four appearances.

Dr. Mellody was a three-time first team All-American and ranked second in the University's all-time scoring list.

The induction dinner was held Oct. 14 at the University of Scranton DeNaples Center.
