Quandel Enterprises, Inc. announces that it is No. 9 among the top 71 small/medium employers in the state, according to the 13th annual Best Places to Work in PA awards program.

This program evaluates and ranks the best places of employment in the State based on employee satisfaction and engagement, as well as workplace practices and policies. The Best Places to Work in PA includes two groups of companies: 71 small/medium-sized firms with 25-249 employees and 29 large-sized companies with 250 employees or more. The top 100 companies were honored on Nov. 29 during an awards ceremony at the Lancaster County Convention Center.

Quandel Enterprises, Inc. was established in 1882 in Minersville, Schuylkill County, and is presently under the leadership of fourth generation management. Quandel has been providing construction services throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest for 130 years, including construction management, general construction and design-build services.

Marie Lutkus, PHR, Human Resources Director, stated that It was so exciting and suspenseful during the countdown when our company name was NOT called until they got to #9. What an honor, what a pleasure. Seventy-five percent of our score is based on employee response to the surveys so what our employees think about working at Quandel really counts. They all make a difference.
