The Tunkhannock Area High School Marching Band announces its 6th Annual Twelve- Twenty Four concert Dec. 14, at 7 p.m. at the Tunkhannock Area High School Auditorium. The doors will open at 6 p.m.

Twelve Twenty Four brings high energy, full-scale holiday rock orchestra concert back to the Northeast this year. Featuring the music of the Trans Siberian Orchestra, along with selections from their debut album, Miracle on Rock Street, and this year's newest album, Light in the Dark, for a holiday experience.

12/24, established in 2002, started out as a Trans Siberian Orchestra tribute band for nearly a decade, before evolving into their own original holiday sound, with their first album produced by engineers who worked previously with Madonna, Rolling Stones and Peter Gabriel. The second concept album Light in the Dark showcases the diverse styles of each of the performers, while taking the listeners on a journey with a unique holiday storyline.

Their ensemble includes a four- piece string section, six- piece rock band, five lead vocalists and an angel storyteller.

Tickets may be purchased at Gay's True Value, Bridge Street, Tunkhannock or online at www.twelvetwentyfour.net. Cost for pre-sale is $15. Tickets are $20 at the door.
