Vogel to speak at Summit Baptist Bible Church

Jeannie Vogel will be the guest speaker at Summit Baptist Bible Church??s Fifth Annual Ladies?? Night Out on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at 6:30 p.m.

Her topic will be ??Get Real or Go Home: An Honest Look at Our Relationship with God.? Vogel is a freelance writer and former pastor's wife who has ministered beside her husband, Jim, for 34 years. Jim served as a pastor in three churches and is currently involved in a ministry of mentoring and encouraging pastors and ministry leaders in New York.

Jeannie has been involved in women's ministry, drama, children's ministry, and outreach to women in the local church and in a national speaking and writing ministry. Her most recent book, Accepting the Challenge: Leadership Lessons from the Life of Moses, is geared to Christian women who want to be used by God in a significant way.

The ladies of the church will be studying Accepting the Challenge in their Bible studies this fall, and study guides will be available for purchase at the event.

Vogel recently received her master's degree in Biblical studies. She enjoys serving beside her husband, writing for magazines, teaching the Bible, playing tennis, skiing, spoiling her grandchildren, and learning more about the amazing God of the universe.
