Voter ID forum to be held at the U of S

The Northeast Pennsylvania chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, League of Women Voters of Lackawanna County, and the Political Science Department of The University of Scranton will sponsor a Voter ID Forum on Sept. 19 in the Pearn Auditorium in Brennan Hall, University of Scranton, beginning at 7 p.m.

The forum will feature a panel of experts who will address the Voter ID law and its impact on Pennsylvanians.

Panelists will include Sara Mullen, Associate Director of the ACLU of Pennsylvania; Roberta Winters, Vice President of Issues and Action for the League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania; Ron Felton, President of the NAACP of Luzerne County; Marion Medalis, Director of the Lackawanna County Bureau of Elections; and Keith Williams, Director of Advocacy at the Northeast Pennsylvania Center for Independent Living.

The public is encouraged to attend the forum.
