The 911 Memorial Committee of Lackawanna County plans annual Flag Day, Army Day event

The 911 Memorial Committee of Lackawanna County will host its annual Flag Day/Army Day observance at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 14 on Courthouse Square. The event will mark the 238th anniversary of the flag and the 240th anniversary of the founding of the US Army. The 911 Memorial Committee annually honors the heroes and innocents of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Committee member are, from left, Patrick O’ Malley, Ashley Yando Deflice, JoeDeAntona, Frank DeAngelo, President Judge Thomas Munley and Chairman Chairle Spano.
