Camera For A Cure participates in April First Friday Scranton

SCRANTON — Timmy Walsh, 13, and his Camera For A Cure participated in April’s First Friday Scranton threefold.

Showing at Terra Preta with his Children at Play photo series, Walsh participated in the Children’s Advocacy Center’s Transform Awareness into Action event. He also had a photo in The Cat’s Meow show at The Woodshop on Adams Avenue. The third was being a part of the #scrantonlove art project creating a Camera For A Cure umbrella and a Children’s Advocacy Center umbrella.

Walsh has been volunteering for the CAC NEPA since 2010. He has held photo shows/sales, planted flowers, held collection drives and helps whenever needed. He was awarded with the Children’s Advocacy Center Youth Advocate Award in April 2014.
