Science students at Lakeland High School got a chance to teach their peers about current scientific research topics. Sponsored by the Watershed Team, students commemorated Earth Day by creating presentation booths to teach fellow students, teachers, and administrators about topics such as ‘The effects of UV radiation on the skin’ and ‘Making glow-in-the-dark fish with jellyfish DNA.’ From left, freshmen honors biology students Lily Anuszewski, Emily Seamans, and Jessica Cunningham display their research on ‘the positive and negative effects of genetically modified food.’ photo
