Diocese of Scranton Vocations Golf Classic Slated for July 13

The Diocese of Scranton will host the Sixth Annual Vocations Golf Classic Monday, July 13 at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club, Mountaintop to benefit the St. John Vianney Endowment Fund.

The Most Reverend Joseph C. Bambera, D.D., J.C.L., Bishop of Scranton, is honorary chair and will golf in the tournament, which features a captain and crew format on the 27-hole course.

The day begins with lunch at 11 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 12 p.m. and ends with a reception and awards dinner.

Reverend Donald J. Williams, diocesan director of vocations and director of seminarians, is event chair.

Donations of any amount are welcome.

Golfer packages at $250 include cart and green fees, lunch, dinner and reception. Hole sponsorships are $100.
