Annual Breakfast with the Bunny and Easter Egg Hunt, 10 a.m. April 8 at the Waverly Community House, 1115 North Abington Road. Features a pancake breakfast, a visit with the Easter Bunny, games, crafts and an Easter egg hunt. Youngsters will be divided into groups according to age, so everyone gets a fair share of the goodies. Tickets must be purchased in advance at the Comm office, which is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. Cost: $15 per person; free for children under age one. Info: 570-586-8191, extension 2.

The 18th Annual O’Malley Easter Party, 1 to 3 p.m. April 9 at the Keyser Valley Community Center, corner of Keyser Ave. and Jackson St., Scranton. For children in pre-school to fifth grade. Features a picture with the Easter Bunny, Goodfella’s Pizza, and other treats. RSVP: call 570-346-1828 and leave a message indicating the number of children attending. Registration deadline: April 6.

Waverly Community Church Easter Egg Hunt, 10 to 11 a.m. April 15. Features an egg hunt, puppet play, craft and more. Cost: free.

‘Hop’ movie showing, 11 a.m. April 15 at the Dietrich Theater. Made by the creators of “Despicable Me,” “Hop” tells the tale of E.B., the Easter Bunny’s teenage son, who heads to Hollywood, determined to become a drummer in a rock ‘n’ roll band. Cost: Free admission, small popcorn and small soda; sponsored by Nimble Hill Winery and Brewery.

Peeps Diorama, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. April 15 at the Abington Community Library. Create a diorama using Peeps and other craft supplies. For students in grades 4-6. Info: 570-587-3440 or lclshome.org/abington.
