SCRANTON — Marywood University recently hosted its spring R-VETS (Renewal-Veteran Education and Transition Services) program graduation.

The program focuses on providing college access to community and current Marywood student veterans and their spouses. The courses offered include math and academic writing, along with other transitional services, at no cost.

Students who completed the program were presented with certificates of completion. Faculty volunteers of the program, Christopher Lynett, academic writing faculty, Scranton, and Anthony Pusateri, math faculty, Clarks Summit, also were presented with certificates of appreciation.
