CLARKS SUMMIT — The Abington Youth Soccer League (AYSL) is holding online registration for fall youth soccer.
Boys and girls born on or between Aug. 1, 1997 and July 31, 2011 are eligible to play. Players born Aug. 1, 1996 to July 31, 1997 must still be in high school this fall to register. There is no residency requirement.
To register online, visit abingtonyouthsoccer.org. Online registration requires payment by credit card or e-check. Paper registration is available by printing up a form from the website and mailing it in. The $10 registration discount period ends June 14.
AYSL jerseys, shin guards, socks and soccer balls will be available for purchase at the Stroney Field shed in August and available hours will be posted on the website.
AYSL is a recreation soccer league with a focus on the fun of playing the game, exercise and making friends. All players are guaranteed to play at least half of each game, with games on Saturdays and some weekday games later in the season. Last year over 900 players participated.
Parental involvement is needed to organize teams.
