Toscano brings taste of the Mediterranean to the Abingtons

Rotary Club of the Abingtons member Noreen Thomas welcomed Jenn Basalyga, Clarks Summit Borough manager, to a recent club meeting. She is a graduate of Penn State University and has worked for the borough for 12 years, starting out as a secretary and handling sewer billing, zoning and code. She brought valuable information and advised members on various topics.

The O’Malley Family will host their 24th annual Free Drive-through Easter Party from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 13, at McDade Park. The party will consist of chocolate bunnies, jellybeans, Goodfellas pizza, McDonald’s cheeseburger french fry coupon from the Keyser Avenue location, orange drink, potato chips donated by Catalano Imports, a free children’s meal from the Texas Roadhouse, and tokens from Chuck E. Cheese. Children from preschool through fifth grade are welcome to join in and come out to meet the Easter Bunny, Andy the Armadillo from Texas Roadhouse, and Chuck E. Cheese.
